Casa Patino is an architecture and interior design project for a family home in Quinta Patino. The starting point was the client's references: spaces of timeless elegance, welcoming and with a strong sense of hospitality.
The concept draws on the poem "Evohé Bakkhos" by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen and the taste of sun and resin it evokes. From it comes a warm, enveloping palette: walnut ceilings and furniture, pale softly veined marble, classic white mouldings and brass-framed glazing that divides the spaces without closing them, letting light flow through the house.
The proposal reorganises the whole home, from the entrance hall to the kitchen, dining and living rooms, the library, the children's bedrooms and the master suite, with a walk-in closet in glass and lit wood and a marble-clad bathroom. Every space was designed to measure, from furniture to finishes, to create a sophisticated and warm home.
