Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is TEKSTUDIO Arquitectos, Lda. ("TEKSTUDIO"), tax number (NIPC) PT 513435611, with registered office at Avenida D. João II, 42, Piso 6, 601/2, 1990-095 Lisboa, Portugal. For any privacy question you can contact us at info@tekstudio.pt or +351 214 003 060.
2. What data we collect
We only collect the data you choose to send us: when you sign up for the newsletter (email address) or when you write directly to the email addresses shown on the website, including applications sent to jobs@tekstudio.pt.
As with any website, the hosting server automatically logs technical data about visits (for example IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type), used only to keep the website running and secure.
3. Why we use your data
We use your data to answer your request, prepare proposals and, where applicable, follow up on a contract; and, for applications, to assess your profile for work with the studio.
If you sign up for the newsletter, we use your email only to send you news from the studio, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time through the link included in each mailing or by writing to info@tekstudio.pt.
The legal bases are steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in answering the messages we receive (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for commercial purposes.
4. Who processes data on our behalf
Newsletter sign-ups are forwarded to our email through the FormSubmit service (formsubmit.co), which may process data outside the European Economic Area. The website is hosted by a hosting provider contracted by TEKSTUDIO. These providers process data only as needed to provide their service.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep data only for as long as needed to answer your request and follow up the contact, and at most for two years after the last contact, unless it leads to a contract, in which case legal retention periods apply. Applications are kept for up to two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not load third-party services that track visitors. So that the projects page remembers the view you chose (grid, timeline or globe) during your visit, a small preference is stored in your browser's local storage; it does not identify you and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
7. Links to other websites
The website links to social networks (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and other websites (for example YouTube, Vimeo, press and client websites). When you follow them, the privacy policies of those websites apply, and TEKSTUDIO is not responsible for them.
8. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing or data portability, or object to processing, by writing to info@tekstudio.pt.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt).
9. Security
The website runs over a secure connection (HTTPS) and we take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
