Casa Raiz

More than a space, a return. Casa Raiz, in Lisbon, is born from the meeting of matter and memory: a place where the present is anchored in the essential. Each texture evokes a trace of history, each shadow draws silence.

The neutral tones, warm wood, aged iron and black marble are not just aesthetic choices: they are fragments of time, echoes of lived experiences. The dark marble and timber staircase, the doors set flush with the walls, the wood panels that shape the ceiling and the focused lighting that picks out the artworks make up a house of restrained elegance.

TEKSTUDIO followed the architecture and interior design project through to the end, including construction and fit-out, from the bespoke joinery to the textiles and lighting. Because some houses are built with walls, and others rise from their roots.
