TEKSTUDIO is an architecture and design studio founded in Lisbon in 2011. We design houses, buildings, interiors and brands, with a single team from the first sketch to handover.
Our team brings together architects, designers and engineers, offering a multidisciplinary service tailored to the needs of each client and shaped by several fields of architecture and design.
TEKSTUDIO is led by architect Bruna Serralheiro, responsible for the entire creative area, and engineer João Torres, responsible for the company’s financial management and for supporting clients’ business plans.
Before founding TEKSTUDIO, Bruna Serralheiro worked at several renowned studios, including that of Souto Moura. João Torres brings a different perspective, gained through his professional career (Nokia Siemens, Amazon, UBER) and academic background (MBA at London Business School).
We work across architecture, urbanism, landscape architecture, interior design and graphic design, with a focus on spatial innovation and on people.
Our philosophy grows from a fascination with architecture as a human expression and a way of passing on knowledge. Designing begins with a pen and paper: communicating ideas and searching for the best solution. Clients are part of the team, in a dialogue where listening and acting make it possible to meet all their needs.
Each project calls for its own strategy. Sustainability guides every decision, from the choice of materials to the durability of spaces.
We integrate technology into every phase of the project, from analysis to construction supervision.
3D models holding all the information of the building, shared by everyone involved in the project.
We share every project in BIMx: clients explore the 3D model, plans and sections on a tablet or phone.
Clients walk through the space before it is built and decide with confidence.
We test and compare materials: their properties, durability and aesthetic potential.
Four complementary areas, with a single team and a single point of contact.
From the preliminary study to construction supervision.
Every detail, from the colour palette to the furniture.
Identity, branding and communication.
Investment strategy and risk management.
Architecture should contribute to a planet we want to live on, today and in the future. Each project responds to and belongs to its site, its programme and its budget, with a clear commitment to sustainability.
We develop complete architecture projects, from the preliminary study to construction supervision, using BIM to integrate and coordinate the design, and BIMx and virtual reality to explore the spaces before they are built.
Interior design is an extension of architecture at the scale of detail, combining aesthetics and functionality in spaces that reflect the identity of those who live in them. From layout to lighting, from materials to furniture, every choice contributes to comfort and timelessness.
The selection of finishes draws on our materials library, while 3D models and virtual reality make it possible to explore the space before construction.
Graphic design translates a brand's identity into a visual language, in dialogue with architecture and interiors. From its story to its positioning, every element contributes to communication that is coherent, expressive and recognisable.
Brand creation goes hand in hand with the design of the space, combining artistic expression and strategy to establish a clear and consistent relationship between the visual identity and the experience of those who use it.
Real estate investment consulting brings together architecture, the market and strategy to identify opportunities and create lasting value. Each analysis considers the potential of the property, the investment goals and the risks involved.
Technical, economic and planning feasibility studies, market studies and architectural and construction due diligence support informed decisions, from acquisition to project development.

Casa Elo is the rehabilitation of a five-storey modernist house in Restelo, Lisbon, with architecture and interior design by TEKSTUDIO. Between Luanda and Lisbon, water has always been part of this family’s life: first the Atlantic, then the Tagus at Parque das Nações, and now, in Restelo, the river and the ocean are once again part of the view from home.
More than a space, a return. Casa Raiz, in Lisbon, is born from the meeting of matter and memory: a place where the present is anchored in the essential. Each texture evokes a trace of history, each shadow draws silence. The neutral tones, warm wood, aged iron and black marble are not just aesthetic choices: they are fragments of time, echoes of lived experiences.
Quinta de São José is the rehabilitation of a farmhouse in Alcobaça, turned into a single-family home of around 310 m² between 2022 and 2026. The project restores the character of the original building and adapts it to contemporary life, with simple, long-lasting materials in keeping with the scale of the place, where natural light and the design of the spaces set the tone of daily life.
Nestled in the Estrela neighborhood, Belleville stands as a distinctive residence boasting private green spaces and panoramic views of the Basílica da Estrela. This three-bedroom apartment, situated in Lumiar, Lisbon, is meticulously crafted to provide its occupants with a blend of glamour and sophistication within an atmosphere that reflects their narrative: Urban Jungle. Moradia Carnide is the reconstruction and extension of a single-storey house on Rua das Parreiras, in the historic core of Carnide, Lisbon. The project treats this heritage as an asset for the city.
Casa Lobo is a single-family house in the Alvalade neighbourhood, resulting from the extension of an existing home. The project sought to preserve the original building, respecting its character and proportions, while introducing a new contemporary structure organised around a central patio. Bold and contemporary, this apartment renovation embraces a minimalist character in perfect harmony with art. The main concept stems from a continuous black line running along the ceiling, unifying the entire apartment and creating a sense of fluidity and continuity.
Set among the pines of Birre, in Cascais, Casa Torre is organized on two levels — one slightly above street level, one slightly below — composed so that the house reads as a single-storey volume. From the street it appears as a closed monolith suspended above the ground, an image immediately deconstructed by its luminous interior.
The rehabilitation and design of the Chalet Conde de Almeida Araújo respected the eclectic, mannerist and art déco architectural language of the original construction of 1904. Two fires destroyed all the interiors of the building. We believe the original finishing works were full of detail, therefore the proposal is based on a reinterpretation of similar palaces of the same period.
Located in Serra de Aire e Candeeiros, north of Lisbon, the house arises from the existing ground and assumes itself as part of the surrounding nature. Large glass windows that compose the facades emphasize the relation with the exterior and ensure the construction’s natural integration on the ground and landscape.
Eco House reflects the conservation, renovation and extension of its original house. In order to keep the original features of the main house, characteristic of its neighbourhood, the extension is made only in the backyard. A new volume rises from the new Patio. It is connected to the original building through another volume made of glass that makes the new entrance of the house.
